Revival Testimony
A few months ago we had a special ”Revival” week at New Life where we saw God move in powerful ways. One night Pastor Leo & Rigo prayed for my daughter, Sofia, up on the altar. She has so many issues that I just asked God to heal her & have His will in our lives. Sometimes when we ask for healing specifically we expect God to do it right then and there. Sometimes He does, but often I find that it is a steady process where much more is happening in the spiritual world behind the scenes, then a simple healing in the physical world. God’s ways are definitely perfect & strategic. Even though nothing happened on that night that my eyes could see, God was already up to something.
Recently, I received some wonderful news in regards to my daughter’s heart. After two years of being on a strong medication (Amiodorone) the cardioloist has decided it is time she gets off. “What? Are you serious?!” I was not ready for this! The doctor said he finds her heart strong & in excellent condition. This in itself is a miracle! When she was born, her heart was so unstable, many doctors & nurses feared she may not live at all. This news came right on time, right before the Take Over week so you can imagine I was encouraged. If He healed my daughter’s heart in between the last Revival & now, what would He do in the Take Over?! The Lord also revealed to me that His timing really wasn’t a coincidence. He brouht my memory back to that time when Sofi was prayed for & I believe this healing was a product of people praying & my pastors laying hands on her. This was another prayer answered specifically about healing. I had asked God to heal her heart years ago & I specifically asked God to heal her heart without surgery, if that was His will. I hope you know that what you pray & fast for & believe God for WILL pass. Even if it takes years! God is never late! His timing & His ways are just so much better than ours! God bless you! ~Ali
