Attending the first Women’s Retreat for our church was a true blessing. The Lord spoke powerful words to my heart. The pastor shared that we are made in the likeness and image of Christ, He is our icon. We should compare ourselves to His image, to be more like Jesus every day. We shouldn’t compare ourselves to the women on T.V. or magazines. We have to understand and meditate on 2 Corinthians 3:18 “And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.” Another powerful revelation is that we should want more as Christians. I don’t just want to go to church on Sundays, I want the Lord to use me & to transform lives through me. I sometimes operate in fear, and lately I have been asking the Lord for courage and boldness. And I believe I received it this weekend. I want the Lord to use me in many ways. I want to heal the sick & I want to resurrect people from spiritual & physical death because of the authority that Jesus has given me. Jesus himself said that we would do bigger and greater things than He did, I know & believe it. There is something that happens when you separate your weekend and just spend every single moment worshiping Him. He speaks to your heart more than ever. Glory to God that He gave me the opportunity to share in this blessing with my sisters in Christ.
